AFAIK the rough measure for hyper penis is being longer than the combined length of the character’s torso and head. For humanoids without long tails, this is close to the length of their spine. For matching the length of a leg, we have ‘third leg’ and ‘fifth leg’ but those are a bit jokey and don’t work like other size tags since they don’t also include penises even bigger than legs. I think.
Hyper butts, bellies, and breasts are about large enough to contain the character’s skeleton, although I don’t think they’re defined like that.
Size categories are always arbitrary and for a while we had some trouble with uploaders not bothering to tag hyper on even such obviously hyper stuff as breasts so big your can’t see the rest of the character except for the lower legs and the head. We still do, but it’s more to do with general lazy tagging and not specific to missing hyper.
‘Hyper’ is a bit tricky as a size category because it has two aspects to it: sizes that hyper fans like to see, and sizes hyper avoiders prefer to skip. Apparently there is a gap between these. To serve the hyper fans better, we could introduce an additional subset of hyper. We’d just have to figure out a descriptive name, and clear enough size limits that would also capture the preference of a majority of hyper fans.
It’s kinda major proposal to make, so it definitely needs its own thread. I can’t say how the other staff feel about a possible higher grade of hyper, but personally I’d be up for it. I’d expect ‘hyper’ to remain the major reinforced size category, and if a higher grade were added, it would be up to interested users to add and not something staff would warn users for not applying.
