OC name problem

There’s this OC:

She was created by Lunei-Elune and her original name is Zafina. Then she was bought by artist:CerTheWitch and renamed to Nephthys (with nicknames Nephy and Neph).

All this renaming and nicknaming created a problem. Her art is present under 3 aforelinked tags. Two of these tags also contain different OCs of the same name. The only tag that has solely this specific OC in it, is Nephy. But it’s a nickname, so not a great candidate for the main tag.

Currently I’m tagging her with all those three tags. Is this the best possible method in these circumstances or should we have a tag like “oc:nephthys (certhewitch)”?

Also, if descriptions of those 3 tags explained this mess and provided disambiguations à la Wikipedia, it would greatly help.

And should “oc:nephthys (certhewitch)” imply regular “oc:nephthys” or should it merely be listed in the description of “oc:nephthys”?

You may also add that information to their tag, via the Tagging Discussion -> OC Tag Description Requests thread.

Having an implication back to oc:nephthys makes sense - and as they’re both versions of oc:nephthys so maybe document the disambiguation info under that tag as well.

That way someone doesn’t have to know the full disambiguation to find them.

And what about the tag oc:nephy? Should it be aliased to oc:nephthys (certhewitch)?
