Mine know. At least one does. Probably my mom, but I’m not sure. She ordered more, even, so they were waiting in my closet when I got back home from something.
 
…I don’t know what to make of it. I dunno if she realizes they’re sorta-sexual for me. I’d really rather pretend she didn’t know. I guess I have a strong desire to feel respected, not patronized, so… I dunno. It’s just weird. Very uncomfortable.

I can still respect that, yo. Keeping things like this a secret; that’s just straight-up pretty normal.
 
Both of my parents know about my colon and intestinal issues, but in my case that only makes sense; all of that fun started for me back when I was still in high school, so I’d have to be on friggin’ James Bond’s level of covert espionage to keep a medical condition like crapping my pants a secret while still living under their roof xD . I mean, shit, they’re the ones that took me to the hospital for my first colonoscopy; that would have been really hard for me to explain if I had tried to lie about it.
 
However, and keep in mind that this is just to my current knowledge (and I could be entirely totally wrong here), neither of them ever figured out that it eventually became a fetish for me. Besides, while they both knew I had to wear protection for the sake of my poor pants, it wasn’t a topic of conversation that came up very often anyway. Heck, there’s close friends of my Dad’s and members of the family that still to this day don’t know I’ve got UC and IBS.
 
At the very least, Mom and Dad have always done really well about keeping it all hush-hush.

If someone twisted my arm and forced me to, I guess I could talk to Mom about it… I guess. Maybe some vodka would make broaching the topic easier. You know, for both of us xD .
 
Telling Dad about it though, no way, that’s just right out. Just shoot me please, nice and quick, and chisel something nice on my tombstone for my epitaph.

Funny thing, I was eager to be grown up - I remember being 3 and being ashamed because I felt I was too old for baby toys, or to go in one of those McDonalds play houses. What’s funny is nobody told me that, I was just the youngest sibling and didn’t see anyone else doing it so thought I was too old for it, lol.
 
I was eager to get out of diapers, I think, but not “pull-ups”. I was convinced diapers were for babies but “pull-ups” were something totally different that I only wore at night. So I never really got “out of them” so much as one time I realized I was too old and I was afraid to ask my parents to buy more even though I wanted them to, lol. I have no idea how old I was at the time. Maybe 5-7?

For me it was something similar, but with a different twist. I had a real fear of liking cute, nice or “girly” things, cause I was a boy. It was weird, I genuine ended up disliking things for no reason, I hated the word love and I never drew a heart once, not even if I was asked to do so at school. I remember having to draw the parts of the body for an assignment and I was the only one who drew a realistic looking heart (it actually looked like a potato).  
It was like that for quite a while.

It’s embarrassing to talk about perhaps, but it will only get worse and more embarrassing if you don’t get seen for something that could become a larger problem.
 
But I mean, you can say something, sure, thread is pretty slow. Maybe it’s something you think is unusual but isn’t, or something we can tell you that you really need to be seen for.

11 hours ago… I hope they’re alright. I will say, if there’s blood in your feces, that it’s definitely hospital, if not emergency room time.
 
But sometimes red things aren’t blood I think. But blood in stool makes it super, almost tarry black.

Depends on the blood. If it’s bright red, that’s usually a sign of hemorrhoids. That’s usually not too bad, but still probably should be checked out sooner than later. If it’s black/dull red and tarry like, then you need to go to an ER stat. It’s a sign you’re bleeding internally.

I do know that for the past five years that certain foods cause me to be gassy. I am hoping to see issues on what this could be later down the road, but hopefully soon.
 
I am doing alright, just some extreeme paranoia and an illness to take care of

That sounds rough. Heh, I had to wear period pads once because of some ureter issues that put blood in the stream.
 
Full disclosure: my dad’s a doctor and my Mom’s a nurse, but…
 
Yeah, don’t be afraid to see doctors. I’ve seen many, many doctors of many kinds, and of the like, 9 or 10 that I’ve seen, only 1 was just a bit too rough for my comfort. But doctors are great because they’re one of the few cases where an entire profession of people are genuinely and truly on your side and want what’s best for you - and have a lot of technical skill and good sense to back it up.
 
Almost nowhere else in life except your parents will you find people who are so consistently on your side. And your parents won’t have the technical skill and good sense to back it up.
 
So doctors are great, you should trust them.
