They generally appear as allies to whatever spirit you are fighting. For example, Banjo appears during the tootie spirit fight.

The fact that Terry’s Classic mode doesn’t have you fight Little Mac or Incanaroar are horrible oversites.

Got Simon Belmont. I also saw a huge amount of reissued 8-bit Link Amiibo (from the Zelda 25th anniversary line) in Target, as well oddly.

Maybe, but I’m tempted to keep it packaged. It looks very cool though.  
Kinda clever they basically connected part of his “Vampire Killer” chain whip to his arm, so it’d balance better.

I only have two that kept in packages.
 
Inkling Boy(The Purple one), and Kirby Meta Knight they are both gifts so yeah I kept them.
 
If you have an Amiibo it’s much more awesome if you train it.

I actually have quite a few, including Pac-Man, Megaman, Dr. Mario, Fox McCloud, Winter Isabelle, K.K.Slider, Ice Climbers. Boo, and others.
 
I actually got Wario (Super Mario series) for only 3 bucks at Walmart. Guess not many wanted the Garlic-muncher, or maybe they already had the SSB one.

Well, managed to get the four spirits, with only the box Legendaries giving me a little trouble, all of this being done with a single joycon (since the other one was sent in for repairs due to drifting).

But we already have a Gorilla.
