I guess dimensional travel is as good an excuse as any for that.

I’m particularly intrigued by the “story is twice as long as Sun and Moon’s story” and “more post-game content than Platinum” parts.
 
Because those were honestly Sun and Moon’s weak points. The story was great, but it was honestly too short, and once you got all the Ultra Beasts there was literally nothing left to do except the Battle Tree and Title Defense matches.

Somehow I highly doubt that, but I am still tempted by it. :<
 
I just really wanna see more non-battle alternatives in Pokemon again. Why couldn’t contests just stay as a staple in every region.

I honestly don’t understand why people dislike Ultra Beasts. They don’t “look like Digimon”, and they aren’t terribly overpowered either. Pheromosa is the only UB that has been banned to Ubers and that’s because her stats make her Deoxys lite. And people “discovered” the quiver dance set.

I don’t think UBs look like Digimon (Do people even know what Digimon look like?) but I don’t think they look appealing either way. I couldn’t give two shits about how well something does in battle if I don’t like it.

I don’t understand, but I definitely accept that some people simply dislike Ultra Beasts.

I don’t dislike them. I can see why some people don’t because, by design, they were made to look less cool or cute than other legendaries and instead they opted to make them look weird, which fits their story. But I actually like a couple of their designs. Mainly Nihilego because the idea of a Pokemon that might not even be sentient is interesting. Celesteela is probably the easiest on the eyes though, imo.

Pheromosa is one of the best designs in the series

My favorite design is probably Xurkitree, but I’m not a fan of its stats. Insanely high Sp. Atk, but merely okay everything else. Also, it’s Sp. Atk. is so high, that no amount of IV manipulation will let its Beast Boost raise anything but it’s Sp. Atk.
 
And then it gets Tail Glow to raise it another 3 stages, because why not.

Celesteela, Nihilego, UB Burst and UB Adhesive.

I know this is supposed to be a RANDOMIZED game, but it’s like Miltank’s moveset was tailor-made to piss you off.
 
Swords Dance to raise its Attack, Sing to shut you down, which gives it a free turn to Baton Pass the Attack boost, and finally Self-Destruct, a last-resort suicide bomb in case all else fails!

Exactly why Miltank is dangerous.

Every time someone mentions Mewtwo, I remember that clip of Etika fangasm-ing when it was announced that it would be available as a DLC fighter in Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS.
