A Pan Am 727 flight waiting for start clearance in Munich overheard the following:
 
Lufthansa (in German): “Ground, what is our start clearance time?”  
Ground (in English): “If you want an answer you must speak in English.”  
Lufthansa (in English): “I am a German, flying a German airplane, in Germany. Why must I speak English?”  
Unknown voice from another plane (in a beautiful British accent): “Because you lost the bloody war.”

I think my biological sleep clock is busted.

I think I now see why people hate channels like CinemaSins and later-era Nostalgia Critic so much.

Hey, you are not alone. Everybody has a famous channel we don’t like for x or y reasons.

Nah, but I feel like their way of nitpicking certain details without providing actual insightful criticisms has led to other channels to feel like that’s the new standard for media criticism, hence why we now have clickbait channels that talk about how certain movies and shows are garbage while not giving any real good reasons for it and misunderstanding certain details/plot events to use them as something to criticize.

Yeahhh… I used to like the Nostalgia Critic’s work from 2008-2013, and it even serves as a heavy inspiration for my own earlier reviews. However, he’s been a bit up his own ass recently, not helped by the #ChangeTheChannel controversy.

It’s been six years and I still feel like My Chemical Romance breaking up is one of the greatest tragedies of the 2010s.

Since I did hear some LP songs, it did hit me a bit when I heard the news in 2017.

That’s definitely up there, yeah. Linkin Park was great and the world isn’t the same without Chester’s distinctive voice. But at least they got more than four albums of material.

It was so weird, too, because nobody saw it coming. Yes, Bob Bryar left, but then they released a decent album (Danger Days was by far my least favorite of theirs, but it still had some good songs), had a popular tour, announced that they were back in the studio recording their fifth album, even released the title of it, and then… poof. Gone.
