How is it that reasonable people like Silver and Dr Wolf so often seem to be able to put up with Josh and the insensitive things he’s said? Because things like claiming you “have no right” to be called the name you chose is just blatant anti-transgender crap at this point. Why have those guys not just distanced themselves from him by now? Surely they’re smart enough to see that this isn’t acceptable behaviour, right?

Well first of all, Burner doesn’t pull that specific garbage, he just doesn’t bother to address it.

Second of all, while I can’t speak for Dr Wolf, Silver Quill has a great deal of cultural myopia. Burner told me that the both of them looked at his bullshit Uncle Tom’s Cabin remark that I pushed for him to cut from his Spike video and saw no issue with it. So I can be certain that Silver at the very least simply doesn’t know when Burner is spouting something that is clearly bullshit.

I give both of them the benefit of the doubt because they both seem like good, if a touch dense, guys.
