Patreon is doing this to get more money to the creators. At this moment creators are not getting all the money that people pledge to them. With these new fees the creators are getting closer to the amount they’re supposed to have.

I’ll take one for an example: I normally have 86 dollars of pledges each month but with these fees I only get 80,65 dollars.
Another example I read is someone who got 11k but had to pay 1k in fees.

That’s not fair towards the creators. And According to surveys patrons also don’t find it fair that a big part of their pledges go to fees instead of their creators.

I miss the days when people who didn’t care for things wouldn’t whine about people who did love those things. Now a

days it seems like everyone is being to consumed by Us VS Them.

@angrybrony
We, as humans, tends to follow leaders because of their character. So much that sometimes it gets to a point where we blindly follow them even when what they’re doing is wrong. Hitler did this, peet does that, Trump does that and hillary does (or used to do) that. It’s in our nature, and it’s only up to us to follow that nature or not.

And raising taxes? That’s child’s play here. Everyday there’s more money in the politics pocket and less in our’s. Still, it’s not right

Oh. Well, that’s the biggest level of bullshit i’ve seen in a while. Funny, i thought peet would suport this since it will ban the “nazis”. I hope crap like this doesn’t happen

Actually, Title II does absolutely nothing to protect content from censorship. The FTC actually originally had consumer protection regulatory powers under the previous rules when it had jurisdiction and the FCC already had rules in place to protect against anti-competitive practices under the Communications Act of 1934. Although the biggest protector of censorship would be public backlash which drives consumer decisions.

Title II also does not protect from ISPs charging more to consumers. And as I have already pointed out today, the à la carte packaging of internet packages is a huge myth.

I’m also not sure what your broadband deployment graph is supposed to mean considering it also has nothing to do with Title II regulations either. Title II does not regulate more competition into existence or increase your access to higher bandwidths.

It amazes how many market fairy tales proponents of “net neutrality” believe this regulation somehow makes magically occur.

It does raise some questions.

TOTV. Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo. Where and what are they?
Heaven - Val’kyr Capital. Conquered in 2029 CE. Re-purposed into an entire city-state with multiple levels and vast structures both old and new.
Purgatory - The Ghostlands. An empty, fog-filled void that one can endlessly wander for eternity. It is unknown how one enters the Ghostlands, and unknown if it is possible to leave. The Ghostlands have been completely unexplored.
Limbo - Sagittarius A**. Mortal souls drift through space after death, and if they do not come across a hospitable environment, they will inevitably become stuck in the extreme gravity of Sagittarius A** and be unable to escape, stuck for eternity. The Capital is positioned close to Sagittarius A* to minimize entry to Limbo.
Hell - Nightmarish void where souls exist as rotting bodies suffering endless, excruciating agony. Permanently sealed in 138,614 CE by Lord Ryder after discovering the Capital’s gateway for condemning souls to the plane and peering into it for a few seconds, suffering PTSD-like symptoms from the experience for the rest of his life. Lord Ryder is the only remaining non-deity to be aware of it’s existence, and it is impossible for deities to condemn souls there due to him sealing it. Only one soul was successfully retrieved from the plane.

I remember a post a while back in which Peet said even God was afraid of Lord Ryder but now I am wondering how on

earth Lord Ryder could overpower God a being who is you know all seeing and all knowing? I mean Bayonetta didn’t

even bug me this much and that was a game about a witch fighting the forces of Haven.

There’s been some discussion in the anime community about the re-dubbing of the shows that didn’t get a good dub the first time around. Do you think Cardcaptors would benefit from a re-dubbing? And are there any other foreign cartoons, not just anime, that you’ve watched but don’t hold up now that could benefit from a re-dubbing?
Cardcaptors would only benefit from “re-dubbing” if the original was already superior to it.
The opposite is true, because the second film was localized by a different company and considered to be “more faithful” to the untranslated version. It had worse voice acting, worse dialogue, a much worse story that would not have been able to go through the way it did if they had to stick to the actual localization’s edits, and had all of the original’s creepy and disturbing undertones that had been cut by Warner Brothers in the localization.
Anime fans love to piss and moan about the edits made in localization like rice-balls being turned into donuts or sandwiches, people having cigarettes removed, ect. But it’s always been on the same level as SU fans complaining about shrinking characters: It’s not the critical issue, and you’re a moron if you think otherwise.
Many of these shows that get gutted by a localization team were already fucked by the original creators. The untranslated Cardcaptors was the epitome of “Oh fucking christ, Japan is being Japan again” with all it’s talk of incest, portraying gay people as creepy stalkers, eleven year old’s aggressively lusting after 30 year old’s, and having a story that very swiftly went from “The worst game of 52 Pick-Up ever” to “reincarnated deities playing the long game of stupid bullshit for absolutely no reason.”
What the localization did was cull all the things that would get them put on an FBI watch list, and then retool characters and dialogue to take the ever-loving piss out of not only the original creators, but their medium as well. It wasn’t completely successful, but it was better than the original in every possible way.
Redubbing won’t help a show with a bad localization. The localization was bad because the source material was bad. Anime fans don’t like to acknowledge this mostly because doing so would require them to have actual standards for quality, but most Japanese cartoons are written like shit to begin with, especially now in the 21st Century where most of the medium is trying really hard to get hardcore fans to hyper-consume at the expense of alienating potential new fans.
The problems with animation fans (aggressively demanding works become focused on lore/world building, demanding episodic comedies turn into serialized dramas, attempting to critique animation while having the literacy skills of a newborn baby) are found in anime communities tenfold. Japanese cartoons are terrible precisely because the majority of the fans it’s made for WANT it to be terrible. And no amount of re-dubbing (especially if the community itself is setting the quality standards) will change that.

okay one Peet you are the last person who should be whining about content makers making disturbing stuff. Two hay

fans of My Hero Academia, Sweetness and Lightning, Sage of Tenya the Evil, and any other anime that has a good

rep according to Peet all those anime just pander to hardcore people who don’t give a crap about quality. Yep I

just love and love I mean annoyed at how Peet can get away with insulting everyone’s taste.

How do I write LGBT relationships without getting the stink from people like Ink Rose about politics?
You can’t. The criticism of LGBT relationships being “political agendas” is an imaginary one, and they will only be happy if they’re written in such a way that makes it easy to ignore (”Keep them in the background”).
You should not be reconsidering how you write to coddle them. They need to grow up, stop being big fucking babies, and join us in the real world.

You know this is funny coming from Peet when she is easily triggered by anime, video games, and things she

dislikes. So guess what Peet you also have to grow up because again you get triggered by anime and video game

women who don’t dress like you want them too.
