Haze is not smoke. Haze is a word for mist, literally gaseous water formed during cold temperatures.

It’s hard to get Pokémon such as Swanna and probably most if not some flying types good on a team :/
 
It’s not with all Pokémon that are of the flying types, but some like Swanna, The Unova version of the Pidgey line, heck even some bug/flying types with the exception of Butterfree are most of the time as of recently as far as I’ve seen been overshadowed by other better flying types
