I’m coming back and God. Why can’t we just leave this pointless debate and move on with our lives? I’ve started major threads in the comments but this is just ridiculous bullshit. The pic itself is actually pretty good, yet there is an entire debate in the comments about race/racism just because Rarity is depicted with a darker shade of skin color.(Not to mention like three mods in this as well.) Just think about it. Why?

I like muslimshy because to me, she represents modern values that I’ve seen among Muslim peers. MLP ponies don’t have a lot of things actually, dicks, enlarged crotchboobs, ect ect, sex seems easier to swallow in this fandom than religion, how odd

disliking Muslimshy has nothing has to do with how modesty or not modesty she dresses. I don’t get Muslimshy either. Nothing about Fluttershy or her background says she is Muslim! Mostly because ponies don’t have religion.

I’m very opininated. Love to argue at that, if I cared to go back to school and get rid of the pink hair I’d probably make one hell of a lawyer. Anyways, its common to associate the support of one race as being the hatred of another, after all, americas history of ‘white pride’ has often meant the downfall of the other races. I’m just here to point out hypocrisies still in the general mindset, some I do still carry with me but strive to fix

for the record, I totally agree that your art is good. I like it! and I have no problem with character being depicted as whatever race/religion/ethnicity
 
but the art is only the initial spark with these big arguments. you’re the one who ensures that they becoming raging infernos.

I’m just annoyed as to why I seem to need a reason to make a character anything other than white.  
It’s not that I don’t openly reject other peoples depictions of ponies (I like to make muslimshy but I have a drawing of a scantily clad flutter hanging in my room that i bought)

Usually art here with strong diversity usually is forced and disingenuous. I don’t feel that way with alvrexadpot’s art. first of all it’s good and not indirectly racist. as cliche as alvrexadpot’s humanizations are I can believe this person sees these characters as such. I myself see Rarity as white. Partially because she is based off of Audrey Hepburn.

I was criticizing online anonymity recently in an unrelated conversation. I’m all about free speech, opinions etc but I’d really salute people who have the scrotal spheres to say some of the stuff they do (as an at least semi-identifiable) regular user.
