Funny that you say that. Adagio is my second favorite, of the sirens, right after Aria. While I love Arias grumpy personality, Adagios dominant one is also great.
Adagio may be my favourite but only by a millimetre because I really do love Aria too.
The funny thing is that I always thought that even though Sonata was ditzy, that she was just as cunning and manipulative as her companions (which is often conveniently ignored by a lot of the fandom). Most people say that Sonata is nice and only goes along with the other two because she’s stupid but in fact I find Aria to be the least evil of the three.

That too, the Taco jokes were funny up to a point but they just went too far.
I love her design too, not to mention she is my favorite siren. She is tossed to the side so much and very underrated. She and sonata had some unique personalities that weren’t displayed as awesome as they could have been. And although I still love Sonata, I find it kind of weird how her ditzy and cute nature is the only thing that gives her a direct pass. That and that Taco Tuesday line. :/
I counted how many lines each of The Dazzlings had in the movie and the ratio was very unbalanced.
Adagio:50
Aria:16
Sonata: 15
The two of them should of at the very least had 25 lines each.
Poor Aria, she is so often sidelined and overshadowed. Aria has the best design of the three though, in my opinion and I like her grumpy personality.
Makes me sad now. Poor Aria. She really did deserve more than what she got. Just a shame she and Sonata were kind of just props.
Yeah they did, and she also said
“I’m kinda busy right now, can I ignore you some other time?’
in the book. It’s a shame because I find Aria to be a very interesting character and maybe including those lines in the film would have fleshed out her personality more.
