The Zamii thing, the Hotel thing, and the coordinated attempt to try and prevent fans of a different product from coming into their own fandom all immediately come to mind.
Didn’t get into FNAF or Sonic, so I don’t know.
Haven’t watched Steven Universe yet, so I don’t know.
Been in the fandom for years and I don’t see it as all that bad. It has it’s share of grumps and bad trends, but overall, I owe a lot to this fandom. I’ve met a bunch of friends and I’ve become much happier since I started interacting more with the fandom.
Thing to note, every fandom has it’s bad part that people think are the common type of fan, to use them as the reason to call the fandom a whole bad is to be very blind to the number of decent people in the fandom, the ones that tend to outnumber the bad greatly, making your a complete jerk to clam they are all bad.
Also Ledvi, do your research, that girl you talked of bronies bullying, she was a lier and many of her lies where proven to be false, she even did horrible things to people that did not agree with her, even making a false report of woman’s husbanded being in the country illegally.

No, because I’m not really too fond of the idea of letting one shitty person speak for an entire group of people.
Sonic fans suck - I am one and have been for a long time. I even had my own shitty OC once, long ago :V
Bronies suck - again, I can vouch for this one. They’re probably my second favorite out of this bunch, though.
FNAF fans suck. I’m not a part of this fandom because I don’t like the games, but they’re just a tad bit worse than bronies, who are in turn just a tad bit worse than Sonic fans, who are a lot worse than the average fandom.
Steven Universe fans, however, generally are like all three of these things + the worst elements of Tumblr. I’d bet money on this fandom being held up as the shining example of how not to fandom if this proves to be more than just a short fad.
And fighting back against her and other SJWs is the correct course of action.
Don’t let SJWs overrun your fanbase or you end up like the SU fandom.
Lesson learned from the zamii drama: For heaven’s sake don’t pander to social justice stuff, they just take “equal representation” for granted and keep hungering for more.
I love Steven universe but I have never felt inclined to find fan works… I liked the show too much to want to see it any differently. (Same with gravity falls or Rick and Morty).
Mlp is the only one I have ever done fan stuff with… Some of the fans suck… But most seem okay.
