The duck bage I have recently received while “fighting” a person who is even worse than me (uses multiple accounts and BP mode to impersonate several people and start drama on fatal pictures to make them less popular) is just an excuse for people like you to say “Hey, that person must be a duck, don’t talk to him just as I do!”
 
I wonder what the hell admins were thinking and still keep thinking by adding a mark that you can never get rid of on a site full of peoople, some of whom are loathul and obsessed enough to follow you around and shitpost personal half-veiled offenses just because you didn’t share their opinion on Rarity being the best pony and the ultimate waifu >_>
 
If you had an argument with a person and no one won because the topic was purely a matter of interpretation and personal tastes, as in likes, it doesn’t mean the person is impossible to hold a discussion with or is a duck. Not all discussions can be won, especially if one doesn’t have any actual proof of his opinion beyond personal biased interpretations and the famous “being popular makes it right” excuse.
 
FYI, I wasn’t talking about you there, that was addressed to two hardcore Rarity shippers who hate my guts for thinking she is the worst mane6 pony… Because clearly I’m wrong, right? I remember that your hostility comes from my likes towards fatal vore and that you still keep blaiming me for my behavior several years back when I actively tried to increase the number of such pictures by challenging the likes and views (more like fetishes) of other people. Factually wrong with respect to a show for children? Dude, I LOVE being factually wrong if it means I get something that is more than just a bunch of setting and characters created for little girls to learn the value of friendship. The writers of the show don’t care about making the universe or characters believable. They had the premise of the show and I bet they didn’t even try thinking of the laws behind celestial bodies in their universe.
 
Why should I follow something that is just an idea of another person or group of people with no actual proof? The whole MLP universe is absolutely the SAME THING as my headcanon, with the difference of it being chosen and turned into cartoon while mine just stays written. Equestria doesn’t exist IRL, unlike forces of gravity, therefore it is fictional and I can make any interpretation of it I want and there will be no real difference, unlike the example with gravity IRL you’ve presented.
 
Alternative Universes are a thing for a reason, you know. There are tons of stories that are written without following certain canon aspects and some of them are really damn good. You can just take my statements below as me not liking the show canon and preferring an alternative universe version of it. Is this acceptable for you or am I not allowed to have this opinion?

Contrary to what modern society would tell us, opinions are not something anyone is entitled to. An opinion should be backed up by reasoning and logic.
 
You cannot have an OPINION, that in the MLP franchise the Sun and Moon function under the laws of physics in our world, because that is factually wrong. It would be like me having an opinion that gravity does not effect me unless I will it so.

Right. A story needs “logic,” as in, consistency. True realism is out the window once we’re discussing cartoon ponies. What matters is that it’s reasonable in the context of the story. The series had already properly established that all pony subspecies have access to innate magic, which can be extremely powerful. Twilight had already shown to do incredible feats of magic when properly trained, Pegasi have shown to be able to fly with disproportionately small wings and even break the sound barrier w/o jet propulsion thanks to magic, and Earth ponies have demonstrated being stronger since Big Mac moved a house while skipping in Season 2. There’s been a slow, steady buildup of demonstrations of the more powerful applications of Earth pony magic, every step perfectly justified within the original definitions of their capabilities.

My only issue with that is that you claim to support logic. Logic isn’t about blocking out things you don’t like to make your hypothesis work. If you want to have your own universe, fine, but don’t claim it to be based on logic.

Everything is just my headcanon/opinion of course, I would appreciate it if we leave it at that instead of trying to further disprove each other’s views. I just like my stuff realistic, that’s why I go to such lengths of filtering out inappropriate events and content and filling in the gaps with the most realistic or suitable hypothesis.

Excuse me if I prefer to filter the content I see on the screen and turn it into a complex and hypothetically real system instead of believing and accepting a bunch of empty husks with overblown character traits and intellect of a teenager fight “evil” and sing friendship songs in a country ruled by 2 benevolent princess-goddesses >_>
 
Also, I am pretty sure that the same rule applies to Sun and Moon suddenly stopping and then reversing as well as moving in irregular speeds and intervals. The Moon is causing tidal waves as it is, imagine if it was changing trajectory and then magically stopping in the sky. From what we saw, the Sun is outright standing in one place when Celestia isn’t “controlling” it and then jerks all over the place. So yeah, the thing showed in the show won’t work no matter what existing laws you want to apply as it is a figment of fiction made for kids. The only way for it to make sense is to completely disregard it ever happened, which is exactly what I’m doing.

Meh, my headcanon Equestria successfully follows every law of existing universe and can be a real solar system, which is exactly how I like it to be, thank you very much =)  
I don’t like explanations like “different laws of physics” and “magic” as they are merely an excuses to not think of how something is or isn’t possible. Of course it can be a parallel reality but then it is even more contrived than my suggestion =)

What? It’s explicitly shown in Cutie Mark Chronicles and Princess Twilight Sparkle part 2 that Tia and Luna move them both. You can even see Luna’s magic aura around the moon in PTS.

Except that I never believed that she actually moves the sun. I rejected alicorns moving celestial bodies right away since it is impossible with our physics laws (speed of light, gravitational pull, color temperatures, inertia, etc) and as such wasn’t fitting in my view of Equestria being a real thing somewhere among the stars.
 
Alicorns are long-lived manipulative control freaks who rewrote and altered history to make everyone think that life itself is impossible without their rule. Also, they use mind altering spells like Twilight’s want-it-need-it to make others love and obsess over them. After all, it works EVERY time. Also, Luna`s dream espionage spell can be used to find deviants and then affect their subconscious and Cadence can downright manipulate emotions of others >_>  
Celestia made Equestria, especially its past, sound like utopia, which directly contradicts to all racism, social divisions, disasters and wars (like Changeling invasion, which in fact was a war) we see on the screen. So yeah, try again :D

The first episode of the series involved a single pony moving the sun, and our sun weighs about 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00 (I lose track, maybe more) kilograms and it’s only medium sized. Any other magical feat is small beans compared to what’s been demonstrated since day one.

Better go back and complain about season four, then, because this is exactly the same thing as back in Maud’s first episode, minus the part of her going through an entire obstacle course in half a second before doing so.

I also like how all debris falls behind Dash… Using this logic, the boulder would have likely missed anyway. In short, this scene has nothing realistic in it and I’m sad to see MLP going into crappy anime territory where heroes are so OP, writers literally need to introduce more OP villains (Starlight) so that heroes can defeat them and become even more OP themselves… This cycle won’t do any good for the show.

I’d love to see a parody of this scene with Aloe and Lotus Blossom jumping at the boulder. They don’t break the boulder down but they do make it prettier and feel more relaxed prior to it coming down on top of RD’s head.
