@Mattatatta
I see several ponies popping in from time to time and finding anon attractive. But not sticking around long, while the Pie sisters stay as the main characters.
Some people might dislike the tropes that are being called upon so far, but I think the comic is pretty great so far. I shouldn’t need to remind people that tropes are not inherently bad but I will anyway. It is purely down to the quality of the writing that makes a story good, not how many or how few tropes can be applied to it.
I wonder if Anon will meet other mares who shall take an interest in him, or if the pie sisters at the rock farm (and maybe Mascara Maroon) are the only ponies who will play a role in the tale.
On the one hand, three to four very different ponies allows a lot of variety already, with the added bonus of more ‘screen time’ for each, leading to more depth in every character. Still, a few potential waifus to choose from might limit the scope of the story.
On the other, a couple or few more elegible bachelorettes would up diversity even more, opening up more chances of conflict and competition. But it could result in each character getting less screentime overall.
Really it depends on how long Pencils wants to make the story. Or how complex he wants it to be.
Just three to four ponies would be my vote. The possibility of a sisterly rivarly is very funny to imagine.
I wouldn’t use the tumblr name as any indication. Pencils admitted he named the blog years ago and was too lazy to change it. Based off the threads on /mlp/, he seems to have taken to calling this comic “Anon’s Pie Adventure”, which is somewhat more ambiguous.
now I have question about how the stone would save him if he finds love, would Anon stay a human in a land of magic and ponies; Or will the stone’s way of saving him turn him into a pony?
My money could be on Marble or Maud, though Limestone has had some funny interactions so far. :D I guess we’ll wait and see. This is gonna be good. X-D
