Ah, I didn’t realise you wanted to use just one girl. But yeah definitely go for Sonata, as I think Aria would be perfect for the 3rd scene alone as the one reading the magazine and not caring :P

Agreed. I definitely love the variety in the designs of the EG characters, not just with their hairstyles but eye shapes, eyebrows and facial structures.  
Sunny’s short hair is great and Lemon’s long green hair is awesome.  
The Dazzlings were some of the first to pull it off and I really love the individuality they’ve given each of them.  
(Adagio’s hair is full of secrets XD)
 
I actually like Twilight’s long hair XD I would have to say that none of the Mane Six’s EG hairstyles bother me but I can see your point.

Love the sound of that! I think you should have Aria in Scene 1 and Sonata in Scene 2.

Speaking of hair, I’ve had an idea for a Dazzlings short comic.
 
Not quite decided whether to use Aria or Sonata, but three scenes would do it.
 
Scene 1) “Adagio!! The bath drain’s blocked with hair again!!”  
Adagio - “They’re a fact of life…”
 
Scene 2) Holds hairbrush up, absolutely clogged with hair. “AND LOOK AT THIS!!”  
Adagio- “So what can we do about it?”
 
Scene 3) Adagio getting chased by (Sonata, say), who’s wielding an electric shaver. “ARIA!! HELP!!”  
And have Aria just reading a magazine and not caring.
 
Could easily swap Aria and Sonata there.

I’ve noticed. The Shadowbolts have quite the variety in hairstyles, Indigo and Sunny have quite short hair (especially the latter), in fact Lemon is the only one who lets her hair go. Similar for the Dazzles, whilst they all have long hair, they have unique and memorable hairstyles (especially Dagi, I could get lost in hers because there’s so much of it xD).
 
Never been a fan of the Mane Six’s hairstyles besides Rarity’s and Pinkie’s. I don’t like Rainbow Dash’s and Twilight’s especially, their pony versions both have short manes, so I don’t get their long hair. One of the reasons like I like Sci Twi’s hairstyles is that it looks much neater in an up do.

I thought that too! XD Since the first rule of Equestria Girls seemed to be to grow their hair. But lately there has been much more variety in the hairstyles.

Awesome job on Minuette!

Nice work again here. Could’ve done with a little more definition around the legs, (bit more shading would’ve done it to make them look less… flat).  
Face came out very well though.
