You said you felt like I was making a lot of assumptions; I was trying to make clear why I feel I’m not making a lot of assumptions. Because (1) there aren’t many ways to take a complaint such as we saw on this image and (2) this complaint was not an isolated event.

The next part of the comment does not deal with any specific argument you made, true, but it was meant to anticipate what I felt were arguments that could have been made, as well as clarifying a point that I felt was worth clarifying regardless.

I’m pretty sure a mod went through and vacuumed up his mess in that regard. He only has so many accounts I’m sure and he’s already outed three. If you look at the statistics graph on Victor Lara and Yoshi Ringo the vote graph is completely broken because of a huge -1637 and -498 respectively. Never seen that happen naturally so I’m assuming it was a mod nuking his downvotes from orbit.

Additionally I did some thinking and determined it is highly unlikely for Prisma to be Ringo, even if on a separate IP.

IMO, this comment alone (attack and insult on author and anyone who likes this picture) combined with his reluctance to actually use filters should have been enough to grant him a nice vacation… but whatever, I am done caring. It is your site, so you guys decide what is a suitable punishment for these things.

I respectfully disagree. If somebody looks at a piece of work that you made and says “I’d like it more if X wasn’t there”, then what other conclusion can you draw besides the one that they want to see the work without that particular aspect? The only other one that I can think of is if you’re providing criticism, but the comments I see aren’t about criticism, they’re about preference.

Now let me clarify, I’m not saying that the impressions being given off by these comments are necessarily malicious, or even deliberate. But they are there, whether or not they were intentional. And while I could forgive somebody saying it once, we’re talking about repeated complaints that seem to be coming from the same individual. There are other artists besides me who feel the same way, let me assure you.

I wonder how many overlapping votes does Victor Lara have between all of his accounts… Sometimes my paranoia kicks in and I start suspecting that he has even more accounts solely for mass downvoting of fatal vore pics with him staying hidden as he never comments from them in suspicious ways…

The thing is too, out of these 3 people, only one is regularly making himself an issue, the others have/had the common decency to state their distaste/preference in a manner that wasn’t an attack on the artist or back off when they had done so. I feel the need to point out Prisma’s shitposting seems to spike/show up especially after a Ringo account gets banned. And looking through his comment history provides some interesting and annoyingly familiar trends. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was still him but just using his damn phone or something to continue being an annoyance.

Nah, I doubt it. Vore is gotta be the most self-destructing fetish/fandom out there. I mean come on, fatal vore pictures on this site get times more hatred from folks who are only into soft vore than from people who are not into vore at all.

Why? Because a normal person blocks vore as soon as they realize it is not up their alley while soft vore white knights keep annoying and pestering everyone with their opinions and hatred in hopes of eradicating something they don’t like (or whatever other purpose they might have) even after being explicitly told numerous times to stop it and being given a working custom filter to hide it and forget it ever existed.

I just hope mods will soon get tired from this behavior and start banning them faster and for longer… I don’t really see any other way to stop this other than banning the main aggressors in these fights to show them that such behavior is inappropriate. There are like only 3 people who are being really vocal about it, so it shouldn’t be too hard to take care of them. Personally I am going to start commissioning and supporting artists so that more fatal vore can be made as a “buck you” gesture for those jerks.

Interesting observations just keep piling up. I don’t want to make it personal, but I am the guy who is mentioned in there and in the past I was constantly getting banned by TheSmilingPony whenever I tried to reason or defend artists from jerks who attacked them for drawing fatal vore… At least the situation is fixed now and I do acknowledge that my behavior was far from perfect, even despite the opposing party being much worse in most of the cases.

Though I did some stupid stuff besides that, so it is fine. Besides, all of us are humans and mods are working without really getting paid… So of course most of them are biased to a certain degree, you just can’t have it in any other way.

The amount of slack you are giving to him is ridiculous. Just skim over this topic and see how many people and mods have told him to stop, ignore it or use filters and what his replies to each of them were. Clearly he isn’t capable of acting civil and isn’t planning to change his behavior anytime soon. FFS, I even wrote a custom complex filter for him but the only thing it did was to show that “got through my filters” part was a blatant lie. People that constantly perform actions like this with no sign of ever stopping or reconsidering their motivation are the worst! Like seriously, we already have Yoshi Ringo/Victor Lara/ReeseTyndall, do we really need more people like him or can we actually start giving out real bans for constant repeated infractions with no sign of regret or guilt for them?

I would prefer to omit the whole “this fetish is sick and you all are psychopaths for liking gore” discussion by yet another person who just can’t get it straight, so I am unsubscribing. Also, I don’t watch TV because I prefer to think with my own head instead of getting brainwashed by mass-media, have a nice day.

I think you can guess what happened next - he just kept going and spewing his personal hatred until his ramblings gathered attention of like 3 mods and all of them told him to stop before deleting some of his messages.

Of course I went back and subscribed after the storm had died down, but notice the fact that not only did he omit modifying his filters despite being given precise instructions on how to do so, he also didn’t unsubscribe after numerous mods told him to stop this sh*t and leave. Even more so, he started shitposting yet again in the SAME thread after it went back to mostly normal discussion. All the while he hadn’t shown any signs of improvement or reconsidering his actions and if anything, his behavior got even worse since the last time as he must have understood that he won’t get banned so easily. Is this really something we need on this site?

I would gladly filter fatal vore If there was such tag, but i dont think they made it yet because I heard someone mentioning how ridiculous it was. Anyways, No, i dont know who are you talking about. I said straight up what the impression those sorts of comments give is, and it isn’t that people are trolling, it’s that people who don’t have this particular subfetish seem to want to see it gone. So yes, I do think people will keep commenting like this to try and get rid of it, because you’ve already made your opinion plain.
