Fine. I didn’t intend for this to become such a big thing. Maybe I’m just more used to message boards than image boards. I’ll just keep my comments to myself from now on.
@Hackron
As pointed out to you earlier, don’t come to images with subject matter you don’t like and complain about it existing. Filter out the images you don’t want to see, I’m sure there’s more than a few tags that would fit your needs.
@MethidMan
I think that if most people in real life saw something like this then they would have a much harsher and nastier reaction than the one I did. I think my reaction was fairly low key in comparison.
I don’t mind if someone disagrees with me in an intelligent and mature way like the artist himself (Pencils) did, but if someone is going to just hurls insults at me I’ll just ignore them.
@Hackron
To be honest, I’m a little bit weirded out by it myself, but not enough to actually be bothered by it and I’m not at all surprised that people like it because I know lots of people are into piecest. To be fair, plenty of commenters did get pretty queasy over the bloody filly scene, but understandly interpreted it as part of the art of the comic. It helps when you know the pattern the comic does and a similar event occurred earlier in the strip when Anon unconsciously (and therefore unintentionally) landed on the Pie sisters in an awkward position.
However one feels about a scene is perfectly fine, how they react to it is another matter. Maybe others called you out on the way you reacted, but however you felt about this scene is something no one can change from you so I hope that gives you some bit of solace.
But back to me, yeah, kinda gross but whatever, I just plain don’t care for it, especially since it’s unintentional and played for laughs. I do happen to like Marble’s expression in that panel, though, which is why I felt like colorizing it.
