Being the older brother to a younger sister, I kind of like it when games or cop shows introduce a younger brother to an older sister. :j

That’s a really arbitrary thing to draw the line over.
 
Yes, obviously, it’s pretty unusual that the mane six’s sisters are either about the same age or younger while their brothers are all older, and plays into somewhat stereotypical sibling tropes, but as cliches go it’s hardly a world-ender. It’s totally a thing that happens in the real world outside of people’s control.

At least we might know something about her family. we don’t know anything of Rainbow or Fluttershy’s families at this point.

Yeah where the hell did that come from my guess is that he’s the opposite of Fluttershy loud adventure like dose not care much for animals just guessing

You’ll either have a brother retconned into existence, or you’ll remember to mention him for the first time ever moments before he shows up :O
 
I wouldn’t mind having a brother or sister written into my story, especially if they’re good at videogames.
