Would cutie marks still be on the flanks in humanizations?
I mean, think of it:
I mean, think of it:
- Cutie marks were put on the flanks because artistically, there’s a lot of negative space there in a drawing of a pony, so the cutie mark kind of evens the pony out a bit. That’s not really the case with humans.
- Ponies are nudists, so that means little to them. Humans, not so much.
- For ponies, the flanks are close to eye level. For humans, that’s way down there.
For those three reasons, I actually think shoulders might be more accurate :q
