So what you’re saying is that as nice and caring as the mane six are, there are exceptions to the rule. I, personally, am of the mind that there has never been such a thing as pure evil. The closest we have ever had to pure evil in real life were the genocidal dictators such as Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot. And even they weren’t pure evil, they were just monsters who deserve all the condemnation they can get. When you compare any of the MLP villains to the closest Earth has had to pure evil, there’s no question that the MLP villains have potential to be reformed.

Ehm no? Tirek can also use his magic to create orbs or open portal (like he did with the tartarus).  
He can do different things with his magic
 
And he is somewhat honorful in his own ways. He released Twilight friends, even when he could steal the magic from Twilight as she was distracted by the fact that her friends are captured and he even freed Discord as part of the deal and he pointed out that why should Discord deserve it, when he betrayed them too?
 
There are chances that he will be reformed. Also i think Chryssi will be too and if she is the antagonist in this season, i’m sure she will.
 
And maybe it’s good to have more former villains for the good side. Maybe against the mandatory doomsday villain in the 2017 movie?

If this power appears again, I’ll be surprised. The show seems to be focusing less on adventure and more on slice-of-life. Which makes sense, since the TV-Y rating makes adventures nigh-impossible to function without it feeling completely watered down.

I’m not saying they should be fired, I just think it’s a little over the top. Bigger hair wouldn’t be inherently bad, I just think it’s a little too big…
 
I will agree the cutie marks thing is kind of silly. Weren’t we taught in the second season that cutie marks all over your body was a bad thing? lol

I guess the one thing I dislike about the RP designs are the cutie marks all over the body. Other than that, the designs look pretty fine to me.  
I feel like the people saying “WOW these Rainbow Power designs are crap! Fire whoever made these!” are just the kind of people who tries too hard to look for flaws in this show.

But seriously, we’d probably moan more if he was chucked onto the reforming pile, than having his arc tied-up but still usable if needed. An ending like this gives more freedom to fanworks, too.

Yes, he will “bow to friendship”, if he knows it’s more powerful than him. Then he will manipulate them for own gain, backstab them when they are weak, and will be even more powerful in the end (he’s like Sauron in that regard).
