You forget that EQG is a spinoff and a separate franchise, and you forget the fact that the theme existed before the 80’s cartoon and has been used in the score for FIM.

You stated that the theme was an intrinsic part of the franchise (“The them is part of the Franchise”.  
I am refuting you as wrong, as much of the franchise post FIM does not use that theme.
 
If its not part of the franchise, which I pointed out it is not, there’s no real reason to keep it around in the show except 80s nostalgia, which most bronies would happily be fine with skipping out on.

Hasn’t been used in any of the equestria girls movies and they’re part of the franchise.  
(They pulled the Remix they were going to use and went with the other songs for it)
 
 
and I GUARANTEE they’ll NEVER use the MLP theme in guardians of harmony if they ever make an animated movie or cartoon of it (That would be the last thing they’d want to do when they’re courting young boys for the toys)

That would be unrealistic. The theme is part of the franchise, not just the 80’s cartoon.
