They’re ayylmaos more like it. They’re not even from earth according to the director of these films so this size comparison isn’t accurate tbh
@Background Pony #AA49
reminds me of GI Joe. That too started as larger toys, which they revived at some point in the 90’s as toy technology improved and the creation of larger toys became cheaper.
@Markiz93
I was going to say, Anon appears to be a giant. I’d figure Dan to be somewhere around 5’2-5’3”, and Principal Celestia is so tall she bangs her head on the door frame of her own office (though, again, legs).

From what I remember, originally it used to be called “My Pretty Pony” during the early first generation toys. But the toys were small so they decided to change it to “My Little Pony”
They could also be referring to the ‘smaller than average ponies’ like Shetland and miniature ponies which ARE about this size.
I’m actually okay with this size range. But I also think its cute when there REALLY small like lap dog sized <3

“But if this little blooper was intended to put ’small dog size’ to rest, it fails to do so.”
How is a waist-high dog in any way “small”?
I got 5 little yappers in my house that don’t even reach my knees. One barely reaches my shins. [I’m 6’2”]
We have a black Lab who doesn’t come up to my waist, yet is nigh on 2X larger than all the others. I’d say the lab was a medium sized dog~
@Cirrus Light
I’m not saying you should do another pic with your old chart compared to the real deal, just to show boat a little… but yé, ya should totally do that.
@LaserBiskit
This. And plus, make them much bigger and they’re so big they become very difficult to cuddle :3
@armadiloeater
Thanks! I’m going into science for my career, so I’d better hope I do a good job with this! :P
But considering this:
@oddball 623A
I don’t know if I’m even a few inches off! I don’t have my laptop available for a bit - on phone, now - and it’d take a careful comparison to nail it for sure, but I think that’s actually within all of the green bars on the chart.
I said that the alignment of all the data points had to be more than coincidence :D
@oddball 623A
i prefer larger ponies too, but to be honest fim ponies cannot be too much bigger than this, because of their large heads, it would look weird if their head was like over twice the size of eqg
@Cirrus Light
Nice job on that one! That’s actually the chart that I liked the most, and the on which I based myself for references. You’re what, just a few inches too high? Considering the freakishly long EQG legs I’d say you nailed it.
Kudos!
