@Ihhh
No way… Trixie was just fine in this episode, she was making an honest effort to improve her shitty life. Twilight was actively trying to screw her over even more, even after the episode makes it clear that her and Starlight were doing just fine as friends.
@thatguy
I mean jeez, I always thought Twilight was annoying and an overall mess of a character, but now I have a reason to hate her. She really has killed my liking of this show.
Nobody was completely in the right in this episode, nor was anyone completely in the wrong. They all had good reasons, and they all made mistakes, yet most people who comment don’t seem to get that.
Twilight still obsesses over impressing Celestia with everything she does. This keeps happening, the evidence that Twilight isn’t fit to be a princess keeps piling up.
@Corrderio
She was a terrible bitch in this episode, the first thing she did when Trixie showed up was tell Starlight to get a new friend. She didn’t consider what Trixie had wen’t through, or seem to care in the slightest. Trixie needed a friend, and the princess of friendship didn’t care. The episode flat out proves Twilight wrong, showing how they become good friends, and she still doesn’t care. When Twilight kept opening old wounds and finally got Trixie angry, she made her say something the episode makes very clear she didn’t mean.Twilight doesn’t even care about Trixie’s apology tour, only Celestia’s stupid dinner party. Trixie and friendship should be more important, but Twilight only seems to care about Celestia. She makes for a terrible princess of friendship, and I wen’t from disliking her to straight up hating her now.
I still felt like they went all over with this ep.
On one hand, yeah Twilight was being a bit of a bitch considering how grateful Trixie seemed at the end of Magic Duel.
But on the other, Trixie seemed like she suffered bipolar disorderin this ep by jumping between actually being sincere to her old ways of wanting to best Twilight without rhyme or reason.
It’s funny because Twi was right; Trixie hasn’t changed at all. But yeah, Twi is the villain now and Starlight is the new main character because they cried and hugged. Yay.
