Well I’m a ponyfan (since G1), and I for one find the G3 designs cute (and fairly reminiscent of G1 actually).
 
The G3.5 designs are pretty cute too imho, but I think maybe they went a tad too far in trying to make them as cute as possible, to the point that some people just hate them instead. xD

Equus Caballus? I’m pretty sure it’s more like Equus Animus.

The ‘horrendus’ always made me unable to enjoy this image as the rest of it is quite respectful and faithful to the history.  
Oh well, it’s too bad.

I like how each stage is based on the art style of each generation with Gen 3 being “Horrendus” lol

Actually, it takes the ability to cooperate and learn as a group to pull something like War. Along with Oppression, some Murders, Corruption – depending on how black and white your world view is, Corruption may or may not exist –, and some forms of Greed. Hell, Tumblr and 4chan require some degree of cooperation and learning to pull off some of the stuff they pull off.

Well, you could certainly drag asteroids from the belt and park them near the Earth. There are a whole bunch of points which would be suitable for parking small objects (like asteroids or space stations), known collectively as Langrangian points. Any of the Langrangian points for the Earth-Moon system would be excellent locations, as well as L1 and L2 of the Sun-Earth system (L3-5 are too far away for convenience). Objects can even be placed in stable orbits around a Lagrangian point, not just placed in a stationary position at the points, which is even better.
