I think I know where I went wrong with this pose.
The shoulders are level with the ground. In that position, with the arm held up like that, and the other on the ground, they should be tipped, with the shoulder on the sword side higher than the side where she’s got her hand on the floor. It’s not a natural-looking pose.
It portrays balance. A competence of movement, and she looks like she’s moving pretty fast.
