While I’m pretty excited that Sia will be a part of this movie, I wonder about that as well. This movie already seems packed with different things and there’s over a year left till the release date.
Everyone’s asking who Sia is and saying she’s wonderful/horrible, and I’m just wondering, with all these celebrities taking on characters, where they’re going to find time for the Main 7.

35 years is “almost 50 years”? Have we really become that oblivious to the passage of time?
MLP is not “joining in”, it was always in, it is a product that has been sold for almost 50 years and has lasted that long because Hasbro has always sniffed out the money

Yep. MLP is doing this to get more money. Top 40 hits have always been less about artistic expression and more about money. There are certain “pop cliches” which are used in just about all of them, what I like to call “money motifs”. These are chord progressions which are repetitive and easily distract the listener so they don’t think about the song’s quality but rather its catchiness. This allows big radio stations to make the big bucks, which eventually goes into the pockets of the uncreative saps behind the songs.
MLP is joining in, it seems.

Never heard of Sia before; checked a single song and instantly knew she was a perfect fit for today’s generation of autotuned heavily synthesized girl pop
MLP pulling a pop stop for money, no surprise here.
I don’t even know who Sia is nor do I care, I heard one of her songs on the radio, it sucked, and that’s about it.

What do you mean by improvement? She’s 40 years old. I don’t think she will improve and as i said everyone has different opinions. Some may like her.

Maybe I’m based because hearingher nonstop in work can be irritating and listening to rest of her songs ehh there could be a lot of improvement.
