Yeah, though, she’d probably still have moments where she’d be a bit embarrassed about her weight, try to be on diets, or get picked on for it, but she’d probably still see herself as a “fabulous” BBW type more of the time, have boys gawk at her, (especially Spike) and still dress & groom herself nicely. She would want her friends to look good too, and help them with that too, and maybe use them as her clothing models too.
 
This pic kinda makes her look like the “fat best friend” of the gang. (Hehe) Most fans usually portray Pinkie as such with humanization fanart, but it oddly suits Rarity, as well.
 
I like the visual gag here of her um… “Chests” over the desk, I imagine there’d be gags with them getting in the way sometimes due to how curvacious she is. (Especially, “Marshmallow Hell” gags. lol “Hey, where did Spike go?”)

I’ve always liked the idea of Rarity being a plus-sized fashionista. To me, she’s the type of person (or pony) who would be confident and comfortable with her own body, fat or thin. No matter what size or shape, she vows to remain fabulous.
 
And, yeah, as long as I get along with them, I don’t mind dating anybody. Though, I am kinda shy as well.

Hehe nice. Even when she’s drawn fat, Rarity is still fabulous, and adorable. I want to hug her, I don’t care if I’d get smothered. lol
 
It’s interesting to see an EqG character drawn like this. (Especially, considering some used to complain they looked too thin.) You rarely see that.  
The double-chin line, thicker face, and sagging arm chub over the tank-top strap are nice touches. I kinda dislike it when people only draw the belly fat, and nothing else, or put much effort into it.

Kinda nice to hear some don’t mind dating chubby girls. I wouldn’t mind that, but I’m too shy, and while I find chubby girls attractive, (I like thin ones too) I’m not very open about it, afraid they’ll think I’m a fat-fetishist perv’, or something…  
I guess, I’m a closet-chubby-chaser. lol

That’s cool! I actually dated a girl around this size during my senior year. She’s kinda where I got the idea for this. She even wore the same style of dresses that Rarity is wearing here.
 
Sadly, we moved on to different colleges.

This is a fabulous edit, darling. And I really don’t normally like edits.

I could have sworn I had a friend in high school who looked a lot like Rarity does in this drawing. I don’t think she ate often, just her body was really good at holding onto weight.
 
I could have tried keeping in touch with her, but I didn’t really consider the possibility of having/keeping friends until I was in my mid 20s, a bit late then.
