In case you didn’t notice, the amulet did that part. She would have beaten Twilight and moved on with her life.  
And yea, they talked down to her instead of offering her a home to stay, dash even wanted to run her out. They can rot in hell for all I care, I understand Trixie’s anger.

Eh she still took the amulet specifically because she thought it would make her better than Twilight, because her intent was to punish her.
 
Twilight eventually forgave her because yeah the amulet made her crazy but it was still her fault in the first place.
 
So yeah just call them a team of former antagonists I guess because it’s more correct.

See the issue I have with calling Trixie a villain because of that is, that wasn’t really her doing it it was the Alicorn Amulet. Much like the book in Inspiration Manifestation it basically possessed her. Yes she went out and bought it for petty revenge, however she didn’t seem to know what it would do beyond making her stronger.

Two ex villains, an ex jerk, and someone that wasn’t evil to begin with but was born in a full evil race.

Trapping an entire town and making them your play things for a couple of hours just to dick over someone you have a grudge with is kind of a villainous thing to do.
 
And Thorax was the minion of a former villain and I’m sure he’s done his share of bad things in the past

Does buying a cursed object of power at great personal cost in order to get revenge count as villainy?

Ok, two of them were villains. One is/was a overly boisterous showmare who got possessed by an evil amulet and one wasn’t a villain at all in anyway.
