I forgot to watch to episode before mindlessly checking out this spoiler, and X’d out of this page’s tab before it showed the knock, assuming it went the “actually reformed her” route. So when I watched the episode, I was actually surprised when that happened.

As someone who adored the season 5’s last five minutes {and pretty much all of it} There was a clear difference in characters and reasonings. So it’s obvious they wouldn’t have the same reaction. So this isn’t improvement, more so just different reactions.

He was a impossible job. you can’t redeem somebody whose only end goals are power and wanton destruction. And i am still slightly irritated by the fact that he wasn’t killed like Sombra was.

Now they are going to have two changeling hives one led by Chrysalis and another by Thorax, however Chrysalis can make more eggs to create new chagelings since he is the real queen and Thorax just a drone, this will make Thorax hive population decrease when Chrysalis one will increase, so sounds for me that Chrysalis reformation will be coming sooner or later, but a good one not like Starlight.
 
But hey this just my Headcannon.
