i think they are implying that he is something of a king changeling.
he is actually smalelr than chrysalis in comparison ,if more robust physically.
i do like tht they did not give him eyes like chrysalis though. queens are hte primary thing of any insect like species. the kings are meant for breeding…….. though chrysalis seems able to do that without a king.
though i will say that i think these are supposed to be this generations flutterponies….. and honestly i like what they went with if i don’t agree with the color scheme very much.
made them ore than just ponies with wings.
