I literally don’t remember any parts of the movie after the time-skip besides adult bambi getting in a fight and Thumper having a bunch of kids because lolrabbits.
(Probably because it’s a movie I haven’t seen since I was, like, six, because it’s a classic movie, ie, it’s a movie where very little happens, very slowly.)

No one can convince me Flower wasn’t a girl. From the name to the look to the voice, everything says female.

Which makes it horrid. Iridescence in insects isn’t a result of pigments but three-dimensional complex nanostructures that reflect light in very specific wavelengths and polarizations (that’s the important part). I don’t think translating that in this kind of animation could be anything but shit, especially if you used gradients.
There’s a reason you’re not supposed to use every crayon in the box to color one thing.
Overall I like the new forms, but Thorax’s new color pallet… Even blind people think those colors are loud.
