Well I still think, through character parallels, at Luna being outside and Celestia Anna makes sense despite who’s the older sister being reversed. Since it’s Luna who felt rejected, and after Nightmare Moon, it was her who feared her powers.
@Nightmare Fire
Glad you agree as this is one of my more favorite pieces since I’ve become a big fan of the Frozen franchise after watching Frozen 2 and learning Arendelle is in Kingdom Hearts 3.
EquestrianScholar, If you feel having Luna be Elsa makes much more sense given her past of being Nightmare Moon, then Elsa’s ironically more of a younger sister, am I right or wrong?
Even though Celestia is the older sister, I feel having Luna being Elsa makes much more sense given her past of being Nightmare Moon. Never once has Celestia I feel shown herself to be afraid of her own powers or herself, while Luna has very much shown fear of herself and guilt of what had happened so many years ago.
It would’ve been much more interesting if Anna was actually jealous of Elsa herself alongside her cool ice, snow magical powers, the royal ruling couple of Aren-delle favored Elsa over Anna and Elsa was actually being trained to help them conquer any other kingdoms. That would’ve shown how siblings are jealous of each other, because that’s realistic, but that you should love them and accept them for who they are no matter what. That would’ve been a really strong, powerful message.
