Look at the backgrounds on every panel…even with just speed lines, it really makes the whole thing look less ‘lazy’. And it gives a sense of space.
 
Pencil is the artist IDW needs.

Definitely, if I only had pencils and inks to worry I could do 2-3 pages a day. most time in my own comic is wasted in coloring and shading.
