That is up to you to care or not. The way I see it, Celestia has a certain mythos about her that points towards what I consider an interesting character. It’s also one that never appears when she’s on the screen (and even when she’s off-screen). I just want to see Celestia doing what she does a few times so i can see how she’s a good leader, teacher, etc… The way she seems to be.
 
Now, I don’t expect to see Novo doing anything special in the movie. But it’s a good queen. And I think she’s good. That is a step in the right direction for me.

this must be the queen to the other pony, so must be a full race we will be seeing in the movie, much like gryphons and crystal ponies if you call them another race.

I don’t know the character yet (obviously), but I could see that. I doubt that Celestia will do much in the movie though.

We already got her months ago, just not one like these actors have been getting. The pony who looks like Sia is the official design.

This annoys me greatly and would make a lot of my annoyances with the cartoon a lot less… Annoying. This is one of the reasons I already like Novo. Not to mention that she kinda looks like Celestia.

In 2010, Hasbro wouldn’t let Lauren Faust call Celestia a queen.

I can finally do a mental fabrication of what a Pony and Dept. Heaven Yggdra Union crossover would look like. Now that the Pony equivalent of the Undine race has been revealed.
