Hopefully it isn’t too bad there. I know a few conservative people and they are really great people, so long as you watch what is said. It is good that you are close enough to a bigger city. If I could get the prom thing together and get enough people to agree to go it would be cool. But again, I work janitorial and minimum wage at that. So it is a very long stretch. I’ve never really been in many cities though so yeah.

Yeah, in a big country like this, it would be hard to pull trans friends together for a second prom unless you had a lot of money or knew enough local transfolk. I’m personally all the way over on the other side of the country in South Carolina, a state that is anything but liberal. However, I’m close enough to Charlotte that it’s not too conservative here.

Still, I wish I could maybe do that older prom thing. The problem I have is most likely that it would be too expensive. I have multiple friends who are trans now, just not back in high school and they either transitioned after college or haven’t transitioned yet. I don’t really know anyone who is just a crossdresser though. But I would try to get an older prom together but I don’t really know where others live much. I personally live in Washington State, in a fairly liberal place. I could maybe get something together but I don’t know if I would find enough people to join the prom.

I’m talking a dance like a prom for older transgirls and even crossdressers. I would love to go to the prom in a prom dress. I would enjoy looking beautiful and dancing and maybe even competing for prom queen. I had no interest in the prom when it came around in my age. I didn’t care at all for doing it as a guy. I can’t say that I would have gone as a girl then, but I definitely would have love to go as a girl now.

really wish I could have helped but I didn’t really know anyone who was Trans back in high school. The idea never really occurred to me that others could feel that their body wasn’t meant to be theirs. I didn’t really think about those kinds of things. I’m sure I would have helped if someone asked.
I could maybe help today but I’m not really near high school age so it would be weird for someone like me to help at a prom. Especially since I haven’t been active in my school forever. All I can really give is encouragement to help others to have those kinds of events. To go out and meet others like them. There are a lot groups out there that really help.

I love pantyhose as well, but I love my dresses as well.
I’ll wear pantyhose with a dress, or stockings. I prefer pantyhose, but I’ll wear either. Can’t tell you how enjoyable it is to have your legs covered by nylon.
I just love to dress feminine all the way when I can, from underwear to the dress. I do like some modest dresses as well, but my favorite kind of dresses are frilly and poofy, though there is such a thing as too poofy for me.
However, I think every person has their own preferred style of clothing, and not everyone wants to put on a poofy princess dress. To that, I say wear what you enjoy and rock it, because I think you’re pretty or handsome no matter what you wear.

As for me it is too pompose. I would wear rather skirt with white pantyhose. (I like to do all crossdress stuff, but wearing pantyhose is best)

I want to go to a con wearing it as well. So does my BF.
We can all sport it as conventions.
But you’re more than welcome to have this dress made to wear at a convention. If you find someone to make it, let me know because I want my own made as well for myself. But there’s nothing wrong with having multiple copies of this dress made for people that want to wear it. I’m flattered people love this dress so much, but you should thank Jon Fawkes for designing it.
