Howabout you all just stop now. If you’re so bothered by pictures with a hijab or skin color. There’s tags for you to hide just that. So either filter them. Or stop bringing up the discussion on every image. This is the only warning your going to get.
@Alvrexadpot
I think I’m gonna leave. As engaging as a good argument can be, it’s Friday, and I’d rather relax.
Also, on everyone’s behalf, I’d like to reaffirm that as much as we have a right to criticize this work as we see fit, you yourself as an artist had the right to create it. Please, don’t let us stop you from doing what makes you happy.
@BigBadSeed
I mean, you could say religion doesn’t have much of a place in equestria but I don’t think fillies taking it up the tail pipe has much of a place in it either, but derpiboo is heavy with loli
@CleverTwist
I made her black cause I like making the white ponies black, I like flutter because I think she fits in the modest label a lot of free muslim women adhere to. Not that it matters, I can make them whatever cause I like them the way they are. No one asks why I make pinkie and jackie white
Don’t get me wrong, there was a time when I too thought a muslim Fluttershy would be kinda cute.
But with the way a lot of the fans claim that Equestria is supposed to represent a perfect world where mainstream culture is based entirely on good and virtuous values, I increasingly can’t imagine a religion like Islam existing in it. @CleverTwist
This guy gets it. To borrow some liberal vernacular, I think it’s pretty clear that the mane six are all “coded” white.
Well, what’s your justification for thinking Rarity would be black? Or Fluttershy would be Muslim? Kinda strikes me as simply making them diverse for diversity’s sake.
@Alvrexadpot
Just thought I’d remind myself that the tattoos that hipsters find so edgy were popularized by the military so many of them oppose.
But you know, you keep doing you. Because nobody else will.
Great work yer done ere’. Say Alvrexadpot, there’s more Hijab style than usual casual wear.. Why don’t yer try mate hijab wear other than casual? Fer example uniform or school wear etc. Just a fruit of thought.
@Alvrexadpot
That’s cool. I have tattoos too. You can thank the United States military for “normalizing” it. @Background Pony #3094
Like most of them, sadly.
