You were the one who brought up the claim that I was responding even after “the discussion had already ended”. There is the notion of letting sleeping dogs lie, you know.
I can assure you I am not intentionally trying to be hostile when I respond to others. As for those comments “I do not like”, they weren’t just normal, run of the mill statements. They were either cheap shots or pretentious claims. Moreover, am I not allowed to respond to others?
Edited
This is not because of that thing you call necroposting, which will always exist, not all we find the images of Derpibooru on the day of its publication.
It’s more because lately I had seen that you responded hostile to comments that say something that you do not like but that were not hostile and were not of some troll.
That’s why I had that reaction.
Anyone who has commented in this thread is going to get a notification when someone replies to it - that’s not “hunting”, it’s actually a feature of the site. If you see someone spamming the site, please report it - but I don’t see anything like spam in this thread or in any of your recent posts, so maybe just taking a break or unsubscribing from this image might be best, especially If you don’t want to read other people’s opinions on it any more.

First, I am not going out of my way to hunt for opinions that run counter to mine; I’m actually subscribed to this post. Second, if there’s anyone you should be calling out here for necroposting, it’s BP# D8C5; he’s the one who posted a comment after this thread had been silent for 2 months.
This isn’t an obsession. I believed there was a reasonable counterpoint to be made to BP’s argument. So now I’m allowed to respond to others if i’m not directly addressed? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of a discussion?
While true a majority of the time, the comment you replied to was comparatively mild and contains a fairly reasonable point.
It seems that you just go hunting for anyone who says something you do not like all the time (especially if the discussion had already ended).
Please calm down your obsession even a little, it becomes annoying that the comments section will start filling up with your comments at a spam level (especially if no one was talking to you in the first place).
While most of the blame can be laid on Cinch, I wouldn’t say Sci-Twi was completely faultless either. After all, she still continued to use her magic detection device even after witnessing it wreak havoc on the humane 6.
Edited
You are right about SciTwi not being a villain. After all, her rampage as Midnight Sparkle was Principal Cinch’s doing.
Yo no, creo ue es genial

Then what will be enough? She’s taken responsibility for the mistakes she made, and she uses those experiences to better herself. Moreover, she’s admitted the she isn’t always in control of her magic, especially when she is highly emotional or stressed. How else should she be addressing her wrongdoings and “unsympathetic moments”?
Edited
So far, that “Starlight herself has shown great desire to learn and move on from that incident” is not enough to balance the impression that her unsympathetic moments left in the fandom, that consequence is necessary for all that left.
I don’t think Starlight was ever trying to purposefully disrespect the mane 6; rather, it was more in the vein of her not quite understanding the right and wrong ways to act. That’s why the mane 6 has been willing to continously support her throughout her reformation. While they could request her to repay them for mind controlling them before, there so far hasn’t been any real reason for them to do so; for one thing, Starlight herself has shown great desire to learn and move on from that incident.
@cloudkicker108
One of the keys for Starlight to be completely redeemed for fandom is to balance that detail of personal interaction of Starlight with Mane 6, which for now feels more in the status of “Starlight disrespect to Mane 6 sans Twilight” instead of “we are in good terms” that we want to sell the writers, that karma is missing to counter that detail, does not necessarily have to be rude, with it being something mundane and playful like “you owe us a favor because of the mind control spell” and with that “favor” put her to do a job that is outside her comfort zone that is under the rules of Mane 5.
Exactly. That’s also a large part of why the ponies of Equestria acted less aloof to Starlight than the CHS students did to Sunset.
The village incident was more public. Only three beings have any recollection of time being temporarily altered: Twilight, Starlight, and Spike.
I know!
The didn’t offer her a spot in the band because they were not aware she wanted one–they did openly forgive her early on, though. Sunset had always been more of an independent person to them. Moreover, at the time, she was feeling troubled over the fact that she was still looked upon with disdain by the rest of her classmates, so they likely assumed she wouldn’t want a role that would only give her more exposure to them.
Edited
Like not letting her in the band until the end of Rainbow Rocks? There was still bit of hostility from the Humane5.
I was referring to just the mane sixes, not everyone else.
It’s true that Starlight did not receive the same external hostility that Starlight. At the same, though, she suffered deep internal issues that Sunset did not.
Not quite.
There was no visual hostility like the rest of the school, but they did keep her at a bit of an arm’s length.
How so? Sunset was forgiven by the humane six just as easily as Starlight was by the mane six.
