I should think it sufficiently obvious why he’d cite /pol/ in particular if he thinks calling beta-males betas, which Sunburst is, is sexist.

I mean normally I fully support men’s right to not have sex if they don’t want to, as well as NOT interpreting every friendly interaction as asking for sex, but in this case “acting beta” seems to describe the situation pretty well.
 
If “beta” offends you the Japanese say “herbivore” for the same thing (ie. men who do not pursue women actively or even avoid them).
