The Crystal Empire vanished a thousand years ago. Luna was shown helping to defeat Sombra.
 
Luna was moon’d for a thousand years.
 
This timeline has the disappearance of the Crystal Empire occurring well before Luna’s banishment.
 
By that, the vanishing of the Empire should be very close to Luna’s banishing.

I doubt that the segments are to scale.
 
I’d move the rise of Sombra to after the defeat of Discord. While Discord’s rule would prevent anyone from stopping Sombra, I don’t think that he would have been able to form or conquer an empire while Discord was at large. Sombra was also originally mortal, so I don’t think his rule would have lasted particularly long.

As Roboshi said, the “Eternal Night” seems a tad too long. Maybe a year at max.
 
All in all, it’s a great headcanon to get.

the lunar rebellion seems a bit long, it’s suggested that it only lasted a short time. I would say 6 months would be pushing it greatly.
