Why is it every single in-between frame gets tagged with “great moments in animation”? They’re intentional in order to make the animation smoother and aren’t meant to be focused on.
 
It’s almost as bad when people used “Wall Banger” on TVTropes just to list everything they personally didn’t like (until they got rid of that category entirely because of said overuse).

Well, it’s not like ‘tween frames are meant to be the examples of the studio’s best work, it’s just how its done to make the movement seem fluid. DHX seems to like to play with skewing the base puppets in the direction of motion (following other “great moments in animation” tag) and then adding motion lines/blurs, where here they just drew some blobs and features to get it right. Neither is wrong, this one just stood out as different from DHX.

Scootaloo has the biggest smile.

Looks like the Crusaders have been learning from Crash!

This ‘tweening is what I found most glaring between what DHX does and what Boulder Media does. It’s a bit sloppy though works.
