uh, no one here is complaining about bubble lee being a changeling. they’re complaining about the way the tagging works and how now every image of bubble lee is tagged changeling even though there’s absolutely no way of knowing she’s a changeling unless you’ve read the backstory/follow the blog.
 
I can certainly understand. Someone who’s never heard of this char before will go searching the “changeling” tag and see a bunch of images of this oc and think “wtf I wanna see changelings not some random pony!”

I already notified a mod, because the complaining and whining has honestly have to stop.

I try to not say anything when people complain about this…but I feel I must as it’s been 2 months or more and people are still whining.
 
The Bubble Lee backstory was designed to be this way for 2 YEARS. This was not a thing that popped out of nowhere. This wasn’t even subtle. The very first ask for AskBubbleLee said it. And the artist even has a crossed out section on the FAQ that says Are you a changeling.
 
Imago is not well loved at the cost of a child dying. She is well loved because of her character development, personality and actions. What you all fail to realize is that the Bubble Lee you all so adored and the Bubble Lee now are the Same damn pony. The only New thing is you know her backstory now.
 
Its honestly draining, even though I control a different set of character in Capricorn Reef, to still see people whining about the changeling reveal. Half because it was planned from the beginning and half because some of y’all have been terribly rude about it.
 
Enough is enough. This needs to stop. If you don’t like something that’s fine, but this is getting old.

It’s really not the same. The character is a changeling, so the tag makes sense to me.
 
If you really want, report the image as “other” and get a mod’s opinion or start a tagging forum thread.
