Yes, she does fight back in an ideal situation. She would, if she was really as brave as she claim she is. But in this case, she was caught off guard and ganged up on in a split second she didn’t even have time to comprehend what happened to her. It wouldn’t be wise to resist on the spot in the position she was in.
 
RD has often overestimated her own prowess. And it’s when reality hits her, she inadvertently collapses emotionally into a depressive state.
 
She has also shown to be the type who try to uphold her image at all cost even if it means BSing that she could do something she obviously couldn’t do but don’t want to admit until she gets found out.

The entire team has been in fights before but Dash is clearly the designated action girl of the group and works best with action scenes. In rare occassions when the message of the episode demands so any character may act wimpy/scared/forget about their special even though it’s lazy. Dash is no different but normally her “awesomeness” is played straight

i would have to agree…wish she could have karate chopped them or something or take out one guy or something…though they did catch her off guard so she could not reacted fast enough..though being a being that could move faster than you can blink…that was the only thing that bothered me bout this ep.

To be fair, they kind of moved rather swift on her.
