If not back to their own times I could see them having to go back to the prison permanently to keep the Pony of Shadows locked away. Either way, I highly doubt they will keep these ponies around after the finale.

The three episodes prior made me suspect this was the case. It’s a little like what happened to Applejack in the ending to vavacung’s comic, To Love God, To Love Mortal. :j

Well I know the next likely boarder in the Castle of Friendship then. I was hoping for Chrysalis to be it but I’ll take Starswirl. Keep building that collection of mooches, Twilight.

in the next episode, it’s stated Brooke disappeared, so she never went back, and I’m assuming the others didn’t and won’t.
