Well, Obi Wan was hit with a light saber, and Yoda was old even in the prequels as was on spare legs during episode 5. It seems more a cheap way to write him out, especially after hearing he hated the direction the franchise was going. Has being a yearly release helped COD, Assassin’s creed and others?

Sorry I can’t let this go (starting to think I have a problem) but seriously this sequel series looks to be completely devoid of any creativity whatsoever. It’s like they literally just recolored everything from the original movies so they could continue selling the same plastic crap they’ve always sold in toy stores but in sleek new packaging.

Phew! I’m lucky I spoiled the movie by myself. I tend to do this EXCEPT in thrillers and suspense movies. Don’t ask me why, though. I don’t know.

I called the big part, which was oblivious given the title.
 
I’ve heard there’s not a lot of SJWism in it, but it’s 2 hours of nothing new.
 
And from the trailers that seems pretty accurate, as Jar-Jar Abrams never takes risks with movies or does anything original. They’re always just assembly line action films. I already spend money on Marvel action movies. I ain’t rich.

I was saved $20 and 2 hours of SJW casting because of this post.

To the discussion about quality:  
it’s good, it’s bad. I like it all the same because even 5/10 star wars (but last jedi is much better) film is more than none (and none is better than anime adapt). Force awakens was better than last jedi, there were ridiculus scenes like saving finn from suicide run or leia the force master, but these are such details unable to ruin me a great movie.  
Also “Luke, i’m your father and leia is your sister!” not pathetic at all. All black capes and and stylised helmets to frighten enemies, not pathetic at all. Wait, these are from original trilogy too, no?  
Film norms are here these days so if sameone wants to watch a focking 30 yo movie and hates the new ones, go ahead, live in your time period.
