sigh you see, this is why I don’t like arguing with dash fans, you can never reason with them about whether or not there are things that can be faster then Rainbow Dash. i mean come on, just cuz she possibly the fastest pegasus doesn’t mean she’s the fastest thing in the world. one example is Twilight could teleport large distances in the blink of an eye, much faster than RD could fly the same distances. and shes a unathletic bookworm. who’s to say a massive magical sphinx more than ten times RD’s size could fly just as fast if not faster.

Just because you’re bigger, that doesn’t mean you Will be faster. There’s definitely got to be a diminishing return for being so large.

the sphinx is big enough swallow RD in one bite. things that are a lot bigger than you can usually go a lot faster then you as well. plus RD is flying while carrying Ponks, that’s gotta be slowin her down. if the sphinx was flying, I’m pretty sure RD would be in trouble.

i was gonna say “why don’t RD just fly up out of reach” then i remembered the sphinx has wings too xD  
I’m kind of surprised she’s not using them in stead of running cuz she can probably fly alot faster then RD.
