@northern haste
I wanted to say that this is one of the few times we’ll get to see 2D animation in theaters, since CGI is all the rage these days, unless you live in Japan.
But I just realized we’re screaming and complaining about a cartoon.
I like the original Teen Titans it was funny and some honest character. I gave the new one a shot and well… it’s like someone said take out everything people loved from the last one and make it a show. I gave up on cartoon network when I saw 8 hour blocks of it. Not joking it was all that was on all day long.

(I apologize in advance for being curt in my reply)
No offense, but that’s a pretty short sighted and toxic mindset. One a little too common among critic haters.
I just dont get your mindset. A horrible thing that is the antithesis of good comedy and the antithesis of effort, TTG, is not something that only exists in the past or only exists in the present…it exists in the past, present, and the forseeable future. Almost every new episode of the 5 aborted fetuses with the voice and likeness of the original Teen Titans is beyond painful, and even if it had nothing to with TT, it would still be a really bad show.
Oh, and you can pretty much throw the “if you don’t like it, don’t watch it” argument away, cause it has a ridiculous 4 hour time slot so people and kids who don’t know any better ARE going to end up watching the garbage.
Continously. With no improvement. As in every episode and every season it doesn’t improve, the reasons for complaints renew.
The overall attention it gets has nothing to do with the haters calling it out, that’s just a dumb myth. They get enough revenue from the gullible kids and those with similar mentalities who watch it cause it’s always on CN in enormous time slots. And they have made 3-5 episodes where the writers literally tell adult watchers, whether they be fans or haters, to go #&%$ themselves.
“How many years have we been complaining about TTG?” Oh I don’t know, somewhere between four to ZERO genius!
Some people have only exposed themselves to the horror of TTG recently. Some people might have tried to give it a chance but then realized how horrible it was. Some people might have found a new episode that reminds them how low the bar is, or found an episode that was more tasteless then ever before. Whatever the scenario, they will complain about it.
And there is NOTHING wrong with that. NOTHING. It deserves all the continous flack it gets. Continiously horrible shows get continous criticism, that’s how the world works. How is that hard to understand?
…
Again, sorry for my rudeness, that particular lapse in logic occasionally triggers me when sentient beings actually state such stuff.
