Until more of the symptoms disappear, I don’t care if you don’t think it’s nice. She still has sociopathic tendencies, and she’s dangerous enough to herself and everyone around her as is. She doesn’t need a princess power boost.

Yes, she does start to show it more and more, which shows her character development.  
Only a full total lack of empathy can indicate a true sociopath.

It normally implies that a person like that would lack any conscience and doesn’t understand morality, etc.  
She does clearly understand what’s rigth and what’s wrong, but because of some mental issues she can do some things without realizing it at first, but then she can get what was wrong in what she did (sometimes it actually turns out a good idea in hindsight, since it solves some problems effectively).
 
Real sociopath won’t really understand anything, they do hate society and rules completely, and they won’t regret it when they do something antisocial.
 
Starlight might have some sociopathic traits, which are caused by some mental conditions, but she’s not an outright sociopath, so I don’t think it’s nice to call her that.

No it isn’t. Sociopathy is a kind of mental illness, the biggest symptom of which is a lack of empathy. It definitely fits in with her.

Sociopath is someone who hates society. But she doesn’t. She just has bad social skills and a known mental condition when empathy isn’t as strong as it is for most people. It’s not her fault. And she’s really trying to be a good pony.

I read this as Starlight trying to tell us she wanted to start a musical career and later add the prefix “artist formerly known as” to her name.
