You know, this is a theme I wished the show addressed more than it does. You should always be willing to offer friendship and reconciliation to your enemies – but what if they refuse and continue fighting you and hurting innocent people? What do you do then?

Given how Twilight has refused to protect citizens from being robbed when it’s happened right in front of her, I’m more inclined to go with Celestia.
