@moonchosen
Arguing against a mindset like that isn’t going to accomplish anything. The only real answer is to bury it beneath a deep, deep surface of less poisonous comments.
It sucks, yes, but that’s the internet in a nutshell.
@platinumdrop
If homosexuality is a fetish, then so is heterosexuality. I really cannot believe there are so many openly homophobic people like you on this site. Why does someone like you even want to be in the MLP fandom? Your ideals run contrary to everything the show is about.
It’s comment sections like this that show why I fucking hate Derpibooru. 99% of the site’s discussions consist of a bunch of overly negative “fans” digitally screaming at each other for hours on end over the littlest things and going against everything the show stands for. My Little Pony is a show about positivity, acceptance, and of course friendship. Yet most of the users here are extremely cynical, intolerant of anything that goes against their personal values, and often burn bridges with their friends over the stupidest and most insignificant shit imaginable. All this stemming from a Saturday morning cartoon that’s aimed at the completely opposite demographic as the people on this site. I’d leave Derpibooru in a heartbeat, except there’s practically no alternative. Every other MLP image booru is either a total ghost town, or has been shut down. I’m pretty much stuck here.
And to any mods who think my comment violates rule 0 and are amount to delete it, keep in mind that I’m not targeting anyone specific. I just really needed to speak up about my problems with this site, as I’ve been silent for far too long.
@Princess Luna
So, as I admit I suspected, it’s less an issue of site functionality. Not sure if that’s good to know, but fine.
Lovely image, anyway. Makes me think they’ve been doing things in secret for a while, but this is the first time they’ve done this sort of affection in public!
@DoesNotExist
People see it spoilered, wonder why, then notice that it’s spoilered for gay, and get triggered that gay stuff is being treated as normal content, so they come to bitch.
In essence, it’s political, and we are not having it.
@Quack148
My issue is here is, why would that even be a problem?
I understand that you don’t have an issue with it yourself, but… Anonymous person who doesn’t like this particular theme can’t see the image, and ought to have the wherewithal to realise that the featured image of the week is spoilered because it contains a theme that they don’t like, right? Am I misunderstanding something major here, or are people actually complaining because they clicked on an image that they ought to have already known that they wouldn’t like?
