Wait what? Show to me where you think God did all these things. I can only agree with sending his son to die, but that wasn’t out of hate that was out of mercy. His son also went back to heaven. If you can point to me where in the bible it says he made certain people gay, flooded villages, and killed a woman and her child for being ugly? WHAT?! Do you even hear yourself? And again I’ve read the bible cover to cover multiple times and I’ve only seen one of the events you speak of!

Yes I’m pretty sure that’s a coincidence because I think most people would agree that people being boastful lil shitheads, especially without due cause, are pretty unlikable compared to people who learn their lesson and treat others with respect. Even if an episode has some kind of parallel taken, that’s really basic dude…. I think that could translate to like every culture ever.

And again, I have to stress, the show having morals that agree with your Christianity doesn’t actually prove that FiM is a Christian cartoon…. If anything it just means it’s compatible with what you believe to be right and wrong. It doesn’t go out of its way to quote any kind of bible verses. And Trixie using the word “repent” doesn’t prove anything either. People use that word all the time now regardless of its origin.
 
Actually the same could be said for a lot of words and terms english-speakers use today.

You don’t have to be religious to be a good person.  
You can be a good person with or without said religion.  
The show has absolutely NOTHING to do with Christianity or any other particular faith.  
The morals taught by the show can be believed and used by literally anyone, even atheists.  
Christianity did not invent the idea of these morals. They do not explicitly own these ideas of right and wrong.
 
At any rate I really don’t see the need for any of these comparisons. The god in question here, if you actually pay attention, can be pretty mean. I heard he once drowned a woman and her baby because they were ugly or something. Then he flooded a bunch of villages, and lit up some other guys for eating shrimp. Then he made some guys gay and hated them for it, and wouldn’t let them in his cool-kids club in the sky, because he made them unqualified. So after he had some other guys go and stone those guys to death, he got mad for all the other stuff he was letting you guys do, so he sent his own son out for you guys to kill so he could forgive you everything. But then after that he basically just goes to sleep and tells you guys to all solve your own problems he left you with and when people ask why he doesn’t do anything he gives some bullshit line about how he helps those who help themselves or whatever while he sits in his cloud. He’s definitely be too mean of a villain to actually have in FiM - even Tirek didn’t really kill anyone unless you count the tree.
 
At least when Discord messes with people he was honest about it and didn’t demand for people to call him a hero or anything and he didn’t lie about his pranks being for some kind of good cause. But besides that, I still don’t get why none of you understand the bigger picture here….

Well, its morals have tended to align with Christianity. And, Trixie used the word “repentant” in a circumstance of needing forgiveness. It seems a lot like Christianity…
